Mary Lou's Story
Life
Presently, I'm living in Ft. Myers, FL and teaching third grade. Over the years, I've lived in L.I., Amarillo, TX; Dallas, TX; Waco,TX; Phoenix,AZ; Scottsdale,AZ;
San Francisco; Yorktown Heights, NY; Philadelphia, Chicago and now Ft. Myers. It's been interesting.
I have a daughter 37, two sons 35 and 34. They live in Chicago and Orange County, CA. My grandchildren
range in age from 5 months to 4 years with another due in April. This will make 6 grandchildren.
Teaching is fun but I'm ready to retire. I've had two accidents requiring hip replacement and spinal fusion. One at school...Expand for more
and one at Wal-Mart on tile stripper. I liked staying home for a while but was happy to be back with the kids after months staying at home.
I'd love to hear from anyone who remembers who I am. I enjoy seeing the names I recognize and will e-mail as soon as I can.
I'm near Sanibel Island and Laurel Simmons who was in our graduating class. If you're ever coming down this way, let me know.
04-03-06 Looking forward to our 50th reunion in a few weeks. Can't believe we're this old. Retired from teaching in May, 2005. We're having a great time traveling. Also now have 9 grandchildren.
